The short answer

One office, the whole state.

I keep an office in Fort Lauderdale and work with companies throughout Florida: Miami and the rest of South Florida, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Naples and the Space Coast. The engagements run remotely by default, which is how executive work of this kind has run for years now, and I travel for the sessions that genuinely go better in a room. Kickoffs, executive workshops, and the conversations where somebody needs to disagree with me in person.

What I do is narrower than the phrase AI consultant suggests. I take the Chief AI Officer seat, fractionally or on an interim basis, and own the outcome: where AI pays in your business, what gets built, what it costs to run, the governance around it, and the delivery itself. The full engagement is described on the AI consulting page, and the rates are published rather than negotiated over three calls.

Florida being an Eastern Time state matters more than it sounds. My other office is in Montreal on the same clock, so a client here and a client there get the same working day, and nothing waits overnight for a handoff between them. I work across the United States and Canada, with Florida as the home market.

Who calls

The Florida companies
that reach out.

Weighted toward the industries that actually concentrate here rather than the ones that make better press releases.

Logistics, ports and freight

Brokerages, 3PLs and importers moving volume through Miami, Everglades and Jacksonville, drowning in documents that arrive as email attachments.

Distribution and building products

Wholesale distributors and manufacturers where quoting takes three days and every customer PO gets retyped into the ERP by hand.

Healthcare and services groups

Multi-site operators with a compliance posture to protect, wanting AI in operations without putting patient data somewhere it should not go.

PE-backed portfolio companies

South Florida has become a real private-equity hub. Sponsors call when a portfolio company needs an AI plan the board can actually believe.

No street address is published here yet, deliberately. When there is one to publish it will appear on this page and everywhere else on the site at the same time, because the offices are defined once and read everywhere.

Proximity is worth less than it used to be and accountability is worth more. Ask for published pricing and a named owner before you ask for a zip code.

Common questions

From Florida buyers.

Do you work with companies outside South Florida?

Yes, across the whole state and beyond it. The office is in Fort Lauderdale, and I work with companies in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Naples and the Space Coast, as well as across the United States and Canada. Engagements are remote-first with travel for kickoffs and executive sessions, so where you sit in Florida makes very little difference to how the work runs.

Will you come on site?

For the parts that warrant it. The kickoff, executive workshops, the sessions where a room genuinely changes the outcome, and any walkthrough of a physical operation such as a warehouse or plant floor. The weekly working rhythm is remote, because that is where the actual work happens and travel every week would put cost into your invoice without putting anything into the result.

Is there an AI consultant near me in Florida?

There are plenty, and the useful filter is not distance. Ask any candidate what they would need to see in your data before committing to an outcome, what the system will cost to run per month at your volume, and who owns it after they leave. Those three answers separate operators from presenters far more reliably than a local address does. My own pricing is published so you can rule me in or out before a call.

What does an AI consultant cost in Florida?

Florida pricing sits in line with the wider US market rather than at a discount to it. Independent AI consultants generally bill $200 to $500 an hour, boutique project work runs $25,000 to $150,000, and part-time leadership retainers run $8,000 to $35,000 a month. My rates are published: a fixed-fee diagnostic from $20,000, advisory at $10,000 a month, the fractional Chief AI Officer seat at $18,000 a month. All USD.

Do you work with private-equity backed companies?

Regularly, and it is a meaningful share of the work given how much sponsor activity has moved to South Florida. That covers technical due diligence before a deal, and afterwards the fractional or interim seat inside a portfolio company. The reporting expectations are different in sponsor-backed work and the engagement is scoped accordingly.

Florida company,
AI on the agenda?

Tell me what is stuck: a pilot that will not ship, vendor quotes you cannot compare, or a board asking a question you cannot answer yet.
