Homeschooling+Costa Rica

I won't lie. I'm freaking out a bit but in a good way. Homeschooling is relatively easy. Once you realize how little kids really learn in school, you can get through the curriculum with zero pressure, zero homework or tests, and all the enjoyment that comes with happy kids.

But wow, in a few days, we will be living a completely different life. We will be living in nature, outdoors, and at a constant 30 degrees Celsius every day for the next four months.

They say that Costa Rica commands a slower pace of life. As an entrepreneur and my wife teaching the kids, we are constantly busy. But now, we will just slow down. While I still work on a daily basis, as one must, the kids will shift their homeschooling towards learning Spanish and everything nature-based.

The residential community we rented in is called La Ecovilla, and it has a beautiful river running right through it. With amenities like picnic tables, a yoga studio, and hiking trails, I'll be doing my work outside as much as possible, focusing on physical and mental health.

It's going to be a beautiful time, I'm sure, but I can't even visualize it yet. With so much hope of a better life, let's see if nature and community are what we have been missing from our current standard Montreal life.

Until next time.
